Pizza Nova - Kitchener
Pizza Nova
Description
A neighborhood favorite praised for inventive pies, a sturdy crust, whole-wheat and vegan (Daiya) options, and warm, energetic service from attentive staff and an involved owner. Great value for families and parties—especially with coupon packs—while wings and specialty pizzas earn repeat business. However, quality can be inconsistent: bland sauce, soggy or undercooked slices, and occasional long waits or cold deliveries have been reported, so takeout reliability may vary.

Pizza Nova serves delicious pizza. The quality and quantity are perfect, satisfying both me and my family.
They have whole wheat dough which is nice as not many pizza places offer that. Nothing extraordinary about it. Sauce looks like it's made of pureed tomatoes and nothing else. Very little flavour but the crust is pretty good. Will only return if I'm in a pinch and my regular spots don't have whole wheat available.
This pizza franchise is among the worst I've ever encountered. I recommend thinking twice before visiting or placing an order. The taste is terrible, and the so-called "healthy guy" at the counter is rude and unwelcoming, making it feel like he’s doing us a favor by serving pizza. Customer service basics seem completely lost on him. If the franchise owner or territory manager happens to read this, I urge you to consider some training sessions. Additionally, the quality of the food is disappointing—burnt and poorly cooked.
I ordered a pizza for takeout, with an estimated pickup time of 20 minutes. I arrived on time, but ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes. The staff apologized for the overall 40-minute wait, but there was no compensation offered for the delay. The pizza itself was good, but I probably won't order from this place again because of the customer service.
