I went there for a Design KW breakfast meetup this morning. Was really impressed. The location is a little unassuming, but don't let that deter you. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I ordered the breakfast special with bacon and it was excellent. Loved the potatoes. I'm hit and miss with eggs and the barrista at the counter asked about the ones I hadn't eaten. I am here for all day breakfast as I write this review. Breakfast is $6.99 and I bought an orange juice. I tipped 13% which I usually don't when I have to stand in line to order. My food was good but tables are dirty. My meal arrived without my drink so I had to go to the counter and ask for it. I've had better service and food considering I paid $11.03 including tip for my breakfast. View all feedback.

I recently went to Kava Bean while on lunch break from work, and ended up deciding to order breakfast. I ordered the Breakfast Special, which is the typical eggs, meat, toast and home fries. Unfortunately, the bacon was a lot crispier than I was expecting, but not terrible. The eggs were some of the best cooked scrambled eggs I have had in a breakfast joint in a very long time! The meal only cost me about $7 including a tip! Everything else was a good experience - the interior is nice, but seating is a little outdated and uncomfortable. Although I did notice a lady working back in the kitchen who did not have a hairnet, which was a little concerning.
This place has great food and the staff are very friendly. Don't let the fact that it is located next to an auto service station keep you from enjoying what the Kava Bean has to offer. I've been here for both breakfast and lunch and everything has been really good.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kava Bean Bistro in the inner city. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Rose, and her daughter. Their family-run business treats customers with exceptional care. Thank you, Kava Bean Bistro, for a wonderful experience!
