Crafty Ramen - Kitchener
Crafty Ramen
Description
The ramen restaurant received mixed reviews overall. Some diners found the dishes too salty and in need of improvement in flavor. On the other hand, others praised the restaurant for its high-quality ingredients and great composition of bowls. Despite some complaints about portion sizes and prices, many customers enjoyed their meals and found the experience to be positive. The restaurant may have room for growth in certain areas, but it seems to be a promising spot for a cozy dining experience.

I am giving it a 4 star only because the ramen is bit on the expensive side, the quantity of korean fried chicken you get is also not much at all (maybe all ramen is like that or it's inflation who knows), but aside the price the food is top notch amazing, would recommend if you have the money!
We recently visited and enjoyed our meal. We went on a Friday, so it was pretty busy in the kitchen, but the servers were attentive and checked in on us while we were waiting. At this location, you pay up at the cash and take a number to the table, but we found that the servers were very attentive and helpful. We ordered the Korean Fried Chicken to start which was flavourful and tasted great!I ordered the Vegan Mapo Tofu Ramen with extra sesame tofu and pickled shiitake. I really enjoy this ramen, it has great flavour! One small thing I'd suggest is that there are more pickled shiitake pieces for the upcharge, I think mine came with 3 small pieces for the extra $1.50.My partner ordered the Dragon's Breath Ramen.
This place is the real deal. Every bowl is very clearly composed with an inspired intentionality, and the components of each are all high-quality. I love that they’re all locally-sourced/regional ingredients as well. It’s really rad that their noodle machine is in plain sight, and it’s really gratifying for ramen nerds like myself to see employees working with it in real-time. Pay no mind whatsoever to the negative reviews saying things about salt levels or the noodles. If you enjoy real ramen, this is the place you need to visit in Kitchener.
I tried a new ramen restaurant but was somewhat let down. The Kaizen Warrior was satisfactory, but the Big City Smoke was too salty for my taste. The portion sizes were decent, but the flavors could use some fine-tuning. I prefer to give honest feedback on my dining experiences, even if it's not always positive.
