Sharky has 2 outlets, one at the outdoor market on Byram street, dine inside delivery or takeaway. The other at the top of Southfield Road Almondbury, takeaway or delivery. Both sites are staffed with the same crew so this leads to a very very good level of quality ad quantity. As for quantity, I have never seen fish and chips as large as is served at both sites. I think that the variety of food d drink available at both sites is great. Pukka pies, sausage, scampi, and other food. You need to be really hungry to eat a large portion though! We visit the Byram street every Saturday and have medium fish with peas/curry. You get a few chips, added for free, that make it a bigger meal. Really great food at reasonable price….

There service is always fast and efFISHient... read more I can never fault the work that the guys at Sharkey's do whenever I visit I am always greeted in a freindly manner. There service is always fast and efFISHient and I have been a regular here for many years, their food is great value for money too. If you ask for a small of anything you almost get as much as a medium and they always give extra chips. Excellent customer service is why I keep coming back. Only small downside is there isn't any onsite parking making it difficult on the busy main road especially with buses but there is a bus stop right outside for anyone who needs that.
