To all of our dear friends, old and new, Roberto's opened its doors in 1987, and from 1988 to 2002, our beloved Giovanni Cipressi dedicated his heart and soul to this special place. For over 22 years, we have had the privilege of running Roberto's, watching many of you grow into remarkable adults since your first visits as toddlers and even newborns. Being part of this wonderful community has been a true blessing, and we have made countless cherished friendships along the way—many of you know who you are. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Roberto's. This decision was not made lightly; it marks the end of an incredible journey filled with joy, excitement, challenges, and valuable lessons learned. We take immense pride in what we have achieved as a team, driven by passion and hard work. We are eternally grateful to each member of our team for every moment shared. To you, our loyal patrons, thank you. Your belief and trust in us over these years have propelled us forward and shaped our every endeavor. We are deeply thankful for your steadfast friendship and support, as they have been the cornerstone of our success. It has been an incredible honor to serve you these past 22 years. The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch. The chef even came out to personally serve our meals. The front of house staff were also excellent and went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
Visited Robertos last night, the food was absolutely delicious.the staff were very friendly and attentive and was really nice to chat to the chef/owners. We were seated to our table and our drinks/food order was taken promptly. We had asked if we could have a short break between the starter and the main which was fully accommodated. We will definitely visit again as found the whole experience very enjoyable.
Probably one of the worst meals I have experienced every thing was shocking customer service food everything was poor can’t believe people actually go to this place won’t be going again. Payed over £9 for a prawn cocktail witch contained 4 prawns and some warm lettuce useless.
We have been coming here for years as its a nice quiet restaurant with great staff, lovely food and they also have great kids menu. I mentioned to the staff that it was my daughters 7th birthday and they popped a candle in her dessert that made her day. This is our go to restaurant as we have never had a bad experience and we always leave satisfied.
As usual .. fabulous ! ... most enjoyable ................ one of the best Italian restaurants ever visited. The food is very good and the service is excellent
