go out for a dog walk and decided to make a box stop in this beautiful pub. good choice of beer in offer, I left blonde for the farmers who was beautiful. we didn't want to have a food, but the ruthless order at another table, we decided to have the flowerflower-Cochdar soup, steak sandwich, skin on fries and twirl rings. personal friendly and welcoming. dog-friendly also. highly recommended. What User doesn't like about The Foresters Arms:
very disappointing my man had the lamb, it was raw, he sent it back came boiled a little more, but he could not cut into it himself with a steak knife, I shared my bark with him or he would not have had. any meat that waitress said she would pass our complaining, we were not even offered a tee or coffee as compensation, definitiv will not come back or recommend if this had been £20 it View all feedback.
Michael was our bartender and server and made the best job. our food was excellent and I would recommend this place to everyone. definitiw will return soon
This is an excellent restaurant! The facility is beautiful and they offer a fantastic variety of gin. The food is also amazing - we were impressed with the perfectly cooked, intricate dishes and the house-made cheesecake was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend dining here and I will definitely be returning soon!
So this is the second time we have visited. The first was one week ago, for Sunday dinner. I'm not usually a big fan of pub Sunday dinners. However this was fantastic. The choice and quality, was truly amazing. Plus a sub section, for people like myself. Who don't wish to partake with the Sunday lunch. However on this occasion I'm glad I did go for the Sunday lunch. (Still trying to get the chef to tell me what's in the red cabbage). We have also just been back for lunch today. We'll another great experience. My wife had the burger. My choice was the belly pork. . And the kids had a sandwich and pizza option, followed by a pudding. The food is amazing, the hospitality is exceptional and the setting amazing. Can't recommend enough.
Good food but what really elevates this pub to 5 stars is the staff and the warm welcome you receive. Polite and all with a smile on their faces.
Will start off with the positive first, not been for a few years, still a lovely little hidden place, food was amazing, £18 for a 2 course and £22 for a 3 course, very good value for money, the staff are great, we had a couple of lovely waitresses, the coffee is the best we have had in a pub in a long time, can't recommend enough. Sorry there is just one negative, you do not serve beef gravy with lamb (as lovely as the gravy was), it really does not work, if that had not had happened it would have been 5 stars.
