I have had breakfast in many places, but this one stands out as exceptional.

The service was fast and efficient.

It’s tricky to rate the food when we asked first if the wait was long and they reply ‘5 minutes’. 40 mins later we were still waiting for my coffee and carrot c... read more It’s tricky to rate the food when we asked first if the wait was long and they reply ‘5 minutes’. 40 mins later we were still waiting for my coffee and carrot cake AND my husband’s eggs Benedict. He asked how much longer and the...waitress said 5-7 more minutes. He then asked why we hadn’t been informed and she said “look around! We are full. Isn’t it obvious?”. 10 mins later our order hadn’t arrived and when asked again the waitress said the issue was that we were not regulars otherwise we would know about the long waits...!!??!! We found her replies rather condescending. Might need to work on costumer service. Eggs were good. Carrot cake dry. We won’t be going back any time soon.
