We decided to dine there one evening and were disappointed with the... read more I recently visited Kelly's restaurant with a friend while we were in Kilrush for a few days. We decided to dine there one evening and were disappointed with the poor quality of the food. The steaks were thin like rashers, the chips were overcooked, and the pepper sauce was terrible. The service was also lacking, as the two ladies serving behind the bar were loud and unprofessional, making us feel uncomfortable. Overall, we did not enjoy our experience at Kelly's and will not be returning.

The vegetables were... read more We had a wonderful dinner in a nice, casual, and relaxed atmosphere. The onion rings were delicious, especially when paired with the sauce. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were soft and fluffy. My partner thoroughly enjoyed the wild and fresh salmon. We also loved the coffee and ice cream.

After reading reviews, decided to try here, it was 7.45pm when we were seated and staff explained the kitchen was backed up , waiting 40minutes only to be told... read more After reading reviews, decided to try here, it was 7.45pm when we were seated and staff explained the kitchen was backed up , waiting 40minutes only to be told they were unsure when we would have our food. Another table beside us got complimentary drinks for their delay. I'm all about not turning away business but , for goodness sake, if kitchen staff are under pressure or down numbers can't cope say it instead of messing customers about. Left the place without eating

Le... read more Came with 2 friends, we ordered the same main and I ordered the soup. Soup was forgotten about, the 3 prawns mains were like rubber and absolutely tasteless. Lettuce was mixed through the prawns and cooked which was horrible, we ordered 2 waters and a wine after which was also forgotten about but tried to charge for it at the till, when we told them they never came a joke was made that the server was out last night…and still feeling the effects at half 6 in the evening. How the hell is this place number 1 in Kilrush.
