Description

In a charming yet secluded setting, this restaurant offers delightful vegan options, notably the tasty Aloo Gobi Pie. While the menu features unique dishes like a flavorful coconut-based vegetable curry, service can be spotty, with staff occasionally seeming inattentive during busy times. Guests appreciate the fresh salads and well-presented desserts, but some were disappointed by the absence of clearly marked vegan options on the new menu. Although the food is enjoyable, the overall experience reflects both the restaurant's character and service challenges, leading to mixed reviews. A visit may be worthwhile for those seeking vegan fare in remote locations.

Stopped for dinner and enjoyed aloo gobi cake with tasty side salad and chips. pie was tasty and came with mayo chutney. my sohn had veg curry, which was cocosus base, like a massemann no heat, but taste. the sweet, of what we could say were sweet potato and pumpkin/queash and cheek-pear. he hurled it down so it had to be good! nice to see a few decisions on the menu.

This is a fantastic place that I highly recommend. I ordered the duck, and it was outstanding. The pints of Guinness were delightful, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning!

Wonderful classic Irish pub! Was there on a tour and they did a great job with food, beverage and service.

A fantastic location. My conclusion after a four-week stay in Ireland: the best pub of all. We were there on May 28, 2026, and a trio with guitar, violin, and flute was playing. For me, the concert was the best thing I heard during those four weeks. I'll probably never understand why some people feel the need to sit right next to the musicians to chat during musical performances.
