Live musi... read more The hottest September Sunday and we rocked up here … parked our VW van in the carpark and found a table on the pier. The place was going like a fair . Live music when we arrived and food served until about 9pm . The food was super fresh and tasty. The staff work very hard on what was a shift from hell busy .

We holidayed in area and ate at Helen's 3 times over the week. Also one night my husband and son played guitar, bazooki, sang in the bar and enjoyed the craic. Helen made us so very welcome. A lovely lady. Thanks again hope to call again when we next down your way.

The food is hearty and delicious and Helen herself is a gem. I would recommend anyone to stop off at helens for some food and a gorgeous pint of Guinness

Greeted warmly by Helen upon arrival said she was HAPPY to hear an American accent! I can’t eat gluten so out came the chef to tell me she could make me something! She made me pan seared haddock with mashed potatoes vegetables and salmon for my husband I also had a bowl of vegetable soup best meal so far in Ireland! To top it off Helen is proud to offer Guiness at the cheapest price in Ireland for €4.50 DO NOT miss Helen’s bar! You WILL NOT be disappointed!
