A recent family dinner at this well-known establishment left us disappointed with slow service, lackluster food, and missing items. Sneem Hotel offers spacious, stylish rooms with sea views, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast and drinks. In contrast, a coffee stop at the bar revealed slow service, a basic menu lacking seafood options, and an overall feeling of missed potential. A Valentine's Day dinner was a hit with well-cooked duck, tasty sides, and standout cocktails. Other highlights include fantastic seafood chowder, a cozy atmosphere, and accommodating staff. Overall, a lovely stay but with some room for improvement.

Was Anonym at Sneem a mag?
Had dinner in the Sneem hotel on valentine's day. It was super relaxed. For starters we both had pan fried scallops. For mains we ordered duck, and it was cooked to our preference, which was good. As extras we ordered the chunky fries which came with truffles and a side of garlic sauce! Delicious. We also ordered a few other sides of veg and skinny chips, but we ordered way too much. What Anonym dislikes about Sneem:
Went here for a family dinner yesterday afternoon and was very disappointed. From the start service was extremely slow despite there only being tables. The food was only okay, could have been more options, and could have been hotter. Stayed in the carpack in the motorhome, a really nice place to stay. Staff were really helpful.

We booked the hotel spontaneously because the accommodation we booked was uninhabitable. On the first day a very good breakfast was served la carte. On the following two days there was “only” a buffet. However, with service. It was quiet in the hotel, even though there were cyclists and a wedding there. Breakfast was in a different room on the second day because the cyclists were making an incredible noise. There is a high probability of noise pollution due to many events. We would book the hotel again because the location is very good. There are enough parking spaces available free of charge. Check-in was easy: just said your name and you were done.

I can’t say enough of about all the staff “thank you Louise , and owners of this place, they go out of their way to make feel special, great nights singing and dancing, from the unbelievable food! Very short walk to a magical village called Sneem that is unbelievable to spend time in! Best place I have been in Ireland, I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean. Food is lovely, and the hotel lobby is vetry relaxing.
