I enjoyed the fish and chips, which were delicious, as well as the prawns served with garlic bread, chips, and salad—very flavorful. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the bathrooms were spotless.

With that in mind, we made sure to catch Nora, who was managing things on her own that busy night with SeanChoiche upstairs, and placed our order early. She warned us it might take about 30 minutes, so we happily enjoyed our fresh Guinness while waiting. After that, everything went smoothly. Nora was very pleasant, our food arrived exactly as ordered, and we truly appreciated the stunning views of Clare Island and a beautiful sunset. Perhaps we were extra relaxed after our sauna at BigStyle, but overall, we really enjoyed our meal and drinks at P. Dan’s, despite the taped-up seats. My 16-year-old said the sticky toffee pudding was a standout. We didn’t have the younger kids with us, which made for a leisurely dinner without any rush.
