The bartender was outstanding! She was incredibly friendly and worked diligently to keep everything running smoothly; it was clear she was the backbone of the team. The food was quite good—we tried the quiche and the macadamia pasta. Both dishes tasted fresh and were well-prepared; however, I felt the menu was a bit pricey for lunch overall. View all feedback.
What Nicholas G doesn't like about Cafe Kula:
Most expensive cafe I have ever been to. It is located in the Grand Wailea and you might as well go to one of the high end places because it is not much different in price. I ordered the wailea burger and it was as average as I have had. The ahi poke bowl was ok but its hawaii so you can it anywhere. They have some local hot sauces that you can take in little to go cups for your meal. They didnt stand out to me to be... View all feedback.
This is a review about their breakfast offerings. I have nearly every breakfast item over the years and have enjoyed all of them. The frittata is great. It is the perfect amount of food to get the day started. It is big enough to fill you up and not weigh you down. This morning I had the breakfast bowl. It has two eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, avocado, a beautiful chimchurri and a whole lot of kale. I mean a lot of kale. I devoured my bowl. All the roughage really filled me up for a long time.
Currently closed for construction and in a temporary facility. Not bad for the limited menu. Coffee is good and open late. The breakfast sandwiches are premade and ready to go. Nice for a quick breakfast option; they also have a pastry cabinet which are pretty good as well. Got the ham breakfast sandwich, not a huge fan of ham but it wasn't bad. Really big, lots of ham. Everything is pricy but it fits with the hotel. The nutty Hawaiian latte is delish, basically a desert.
The steak Sandwhich was amazing. The prices here are reasonable and the food is pretty tasty. I wasn't a fan of the mozzarella and tomato panini but damn the steak Sandwhich was awesome.
This cafe, which is now called Loulou, has great ambiance and lots of food to choose from. My wife and I tried the burgers and pizza while we were staying in the resort, and they are phenomenal. I just wish I can claim this business to help them better with their marketing.
Take out service only but tables available outside. The acai bowl was very icy and not very flavorful. Disappointing since it was pricey.
