Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question received mixed reviews from customers. While some praised the excellent service and ambiance, others were disappointed by the quality of the food and the high prices. Some diners found the noise level and ambiance more fitting of a beach bar than a fine dining restaurant. On the positive side, many appreciated the innovative and tasty menu offerings, including dishes like Seared Ahi and lamb shank with saffron rice. Despite some shortcomings, the restaurant seemed to have its loyal fans and provided a unique dining experience for those seeking something different in the Maui area.
Great food and service is always full of extra Aloha! Bill our server was patient kind and gave us our delish meals timely. Had the HH Wagyu sliders, shrimp cocktail, fish tacos and scrumptious cheesecake with strawberry sauce and crème brûlée. Our opus were big by the time we left but we all had such fun and Bill and his team really made us feel like home. We will return soon and hope Bill will kindly be our server.
Nick's was one of the first restaurants we ate at on our trip to Maui. Our timing was a little off as there was a significant downpour, and it was a challenge getting into the restaurant. Once inside, the wind and rain kept going for a little while, but it let up, and the weather turned out ok. The service and food were great! The restaurant was filled with families, couples, small groups, and us (the bests part). From appetizer to dessert, you will not be disappointed. This is a great restaurant to try on your visit to Maui.
One of the Fairmont Resort 's restaurants. Excellent quality seafood and 'Maui-affordable prices. Still pricey, but worth it. The bar is lovely and the bartenders and friendly and knowledgable. Casual atmosphere but high end options. A lovely dinner for those staying at the resort!
Always had great food and service in the past, but this time it was off. The Macadamia crusted Mahi was swimming in an overpoweringly sweet sauce with way too much on the plate and it gave everything that sweet flavor (fish, potato and asparagus). When I told the waiter I wasn't happy (Devin), he didn't offer any solution and said it just must be my personal taste. Then, we were celebrating my birthday, which was noted on the original reservation, as well as confirmed at the host stand at check in. Our waiter didn't acknowledge my birthday in any way, which was very disappointing.
Beautiful ambiance and amazing food. Wasn't sure what to get since they don't have scallops anymore!!! However we started with the oysters and black and blue ahi. Oysters have truffle ahi on top with a lilikoi mignonette. I did not like the lilikoi mignonette and thought it did not match. However the truffle ahi and the oyster was so delicious! The black and blue ahi was delicious by itself without the avocado guac. For entree we got the colossal shrimp with goat cheese ravioli and the lobster tail with bacon Mac and cheese. Both were good. The shrimp paired well the goat cheese and the pomegranate seeds! For dessert we decided on the creme brulee which was soooo good. Kinda rich but amazing rich flavor. It was my birthday so they also gifted a panna cotta that i also wanted! Thank you so much! It was basically a haupia panna cotta which I loved. Definitely would come back!
