Contribute FeedbackMulligan's received mixed reviews, with some diners loving the lively entertainment and friendly staff, while others experienced issues with service and food quality. The atmosphere was praised as intimate, with a great view of the ocean. Some dishes, like the Reuben sandwich, were enjoyed, but others, like the Shepherd's Pie, fell short. Portion sizes were generous, but the wine list was lacking. The live music was a standout feature, with the potato tacos and gluten-free lava cake receiving praise. Despite some hiccups, many diners expressed a desire to return for the entertainment and welcoming staff.
We really enjoyed the live music and excellent service at this restaurant. We will definitely return in the future.
We continue to come back for the outstanding fish and chips. They are the best!!! The band playing last night was exceptional it was fun feeling the energy from your guests dancing to the music.
I read several negative comments before dinning at Mulligans. Our experience, however, was quite positive. The host was very friendly and gave us options on where we would like to be seated. Our server was a young man who was attentive and delightful to deal with. We enjoyed well crafted tropical drinks followed by delicious coconut shrimp appetizers. Our entree selections were fish and chips and a crispy chicken sandwich. Both of these selections were very tasty. All service was doe in a timely manner and the ice cream sundae desert really hit the spot. I would certainly return here in the future.
This was our first time dining at Mulligan's. We decided to have lunch, and the restaurant was quite quiet with only about 3 or 4 other tables occupied. We appreciated the view of the ocean in the distance, and the restaurant had a nice open and airy feeling. It did take a while for our drinks to arrive, as the bar was missing an ingredient for an old fashioned. They substituted it with a Manhattan, which was satisfactory. My partner really enjoyed his Reuben sandwich. I ordered the Shepherd's Pie, which was decent but not exceptional. I had read in previous reviews that it can be dry, and unfortunately, that was the case. Overall, we found Mulligan's to be alright, but there was nothing that stood out enough to make us want to come back on our next trip to Maui.
We arrived for our reservation but the restaurant was not open!
