We took my mother out for a meal, and all of our dishes were excellent. I'm a vegetarian, and I tried the cauliflower wings with a super salad, which was absolutely delicious. I had a delightful carvery lunch today. It wasn't too busy at 12:30, but by 1:15, it was quite full, which shows it's a popular spot. The carvery offers three portion sizes: small, medium, and large, priced at £6.45, £8.54, and £10.45, respectively, from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, there's an additional £2 charge. Both the turkey and beef were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful. The homemade Yorkshire puddings were impressively large, and the vegetables were nicely cooked as well. They also offer a diverse menu with various dishes, but we only sampled the carvery. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the pub itself was clean throughout. However, I was a bit taken aback by the price of £5.30 for a pint of Hobgoblin.

Overall, it was a very pleasant lunch, and we would definitely return.
It was very easy to book a table online, and as soon as we arrived, we were promptly seated at our table. We were a family of five celebrating a special occasion, and everything we ordered from the menu was available with quick service. The staff at the bar and our servers were polite, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. Overall, we had a great experience!
Love this place. The Carvery is a must to have followed by a slice of delicious cake (it's huge) lovely outside play area to entertain the little ones. I would advise booking though it's very popular.
My first visit to the Trading Post was a pleasant eye opener. From the moment you walk in the doors, you are greeted by a very pleasant member of staff. After being shown to our table and been given a very comprehensive menu, I chose a medium carvery. The three choices of meat, all beautifully cooked, were on display for you to choose from. A bit of all three or keep to just one. That put on a hot) plate, you then selected whatever you want to make up a full plate of superbly cooked vegetables and mash or roast potatoes. Superb. The interior decor is light and airy with those with ankle biters guided to one end of the restaurant so those who prefer a quieter meal sit in the adults only end. Great idea. Plenty of parking space outside and very easy to find off the A14. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
