It was... read more We had a delightful dining experience at a charming historic pub located in the picturesque countryside village of Ashley, reminiscent of the Cotswolds. It was our first time visiting, and we decided to try the Tuesday pie night special. The service was top-notch, with a lovely lady named Dominee providing attentive and friendly service with a smile. The food was not only hot and delicious but also came with a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the pie portion was on the smaller side, and it would have been great to have a selection of vegetables included in the meal instead of just a small serving of peas for the price. Despite this, we were overall impressed and would certainly return for another visit. Thank you.

The steak was incredible, peppercorn sauce just right, lovely fresh off the vine cherry tomatoes and the chips seasoned perfectly. Will definitely be returning to try the ala carte menu and more steak nights!

We stayed i... read more We stayed at The George at Ashley for 2 nights in August 2023. We had a late lunch on Sunday which was lovely and very welcome after a long journey. We stayed in the deluxe room, which was 5 star on size, cleanliness and fresh. Breakfast was top notch, freshly cooked. The hosts were most welcoming and chatty. Will definitely stayed there again
