I have never experienced customer service like this before at a restaurant. Despite feeling like you've stepped into a formal and expensive establishment, the prices are very reasonable. The menu is extensive with a wide variety of food and drink options to choose from. The staff are attentive and ready to fulfill all your needs. If I could summarize the eating experience at the raj in a word, it would be flawless! it was our first visit after he was recommended by friends and it was not disappointed. the personal treats them like a royal character from the moment they enter the building. eat it! eating was incredible, everything was cooked to perfection. cocktails in the bar upstairs were fantastic. could not recommend this place enough! will definitely be back.

A cut above the rest for sure...not cheap but the quality is fabulous! had swordfish curry and it was amazingly good.

Very disappointed with tonight's visit.Went with around 10 business friends for a social night out. While the drinks at the start of the night and the starters were great, things dropped off from there.With in a few minutes of my main course arriving I found part of what looked to be a plastic bag. I'd presume either the meal was microwaved or boil in the bag.I raised it with a staff member who took the plastic away and then didn't bother to follow up with me or apologise for the incident. A simple sorry would have done, I wasn't looking for a free meal or anything.Next one of the group was given a complimentary bottle of wine for some work he'd done for them. However this didn't seemed to be passed onto the staff when they aggressively said we needed to pay for it. Even after 2 separate people had said it was complimentary.There was also a discrepancy with the bill and again we were aggressively told we'd under paid. Not a problem as we were all paying for out own courses. But the way it was put across made it sound like we were trying to defraud the restaurant, when we'd all have been happy to sort the mistake out.I can only presume it is under new management as this is a complete turn around from every other visit we've had there.Its certainly now off my list of restaurants to attend.

My husband and I were visiting Kettering for a family wedding and came here for food after it was recomended by someone from our hotel. We were not disappointed. The decor, service and food was excellent. We got such a warm welcome from the staff who went above and beyond to give us an amazing meal. We will ve back in Kettering in September and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you for a fantastic experince.
