Eating both in the evening and in the breakfast was amazing! really good, and the whole team really was really great for us and was so beautiful for us too. the... read more Eating both in the evening and in the breakfast was amazing! really good, and the whole team really was really great for us and was so beautiful for us too. the village is an idyllic environment to relax and have a nice break. we made some beautiful dog hikes around the opposite and it was so great that the care for our dog was happy to come with us and even sit with us at dinner in the cozy snug area of the bar/restaurant. many thanks for such a beautiful and comfortable stay. it was a really pleasant, cool place to be!

It was... read more We had a delightful dining experience at a charming historic pub located in the picturesque countryside village of Ashley, reminiscent of the Cotswolds. It was our first time visiting, and we decided to try the Tuesday pie night special. The service was top-notch, with a lovely lady named Dominee providing attentive and friendly service with a smile. The food was not only hot and delicious but also came with a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the pie portion was on the smaller side, and it would have been great to have a selection of vegetables included in the meal instead of just a small serving of peas for the price. Despite this, we were overall impressed and would certainly return for another visit. Thank you.

The steak was incredible, peppercorn sauce just right, lovely fresh off the vine cherry tomatoes and the chips seasoned perfectly. Will definitely be returning to try the ala carte menu and more steak nights!
