Beautiful place in good settings, chris and carole are the perfect host, which is a fantastic cook chris, make this place one on their Bucket list, they will not be disappointed

I have stayed here some times and love everyone to visit. the owners are very friendly and the food/winning is fantastic! also a great place to stay as it is comfortable and quiet. highly recommended!

Eating both in the evening and in the breakfast was amazing! really good, and the whole team really was really great for us and was so beautiful for us too. the village is an idyllic environment to relax and have a nice break. we made some beautiful dog hikes around the opposite and it was so great that the care for our dog was happy to come with us and even sit with us at dinner in the cozy snug area of the bar/restaurant. many thanks for such a beautiful and comfortable stay. it was a really pleasant, cool place to be!

We had a delightful dining experience at a charming historic pub located in the picturesque countryside village of Ashley, reminiscent of the Cotswolds. It was our first time visiting, and we decided to try the Tuesday pie night special. The service was top-notch, with a lovely lady named Dominee providing attentive and friendly service with a smile. The food was not only hot and delicious but also came with a complimentary drink, which was a nice touch. The only downside was that the pie portion was on the smaller side, and it would have been great to have a selection of vegetables included in the meal instead of just a small serving of peas for the price. Despite this, we were overall impressed and would certainly return for another visit. Thank you.

Went with another couple on a Wednesday which was steak night and oh my, it did not disappoint. The steak was incredible, peppercorn sauce just right, lovely fresh off the vine cherry tomatoes and the chips seasoned perfectly. Will definitely be returning to try the ala carte menu and more steak nights!
