We went to The Red Lion last night to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible—every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented—and the service was just as impressive. The staff were so attentive and made the whole evening feel really special for us. It was the perfect place for a celebration, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I booked a table for 2 for Sunday Lunch for today. What a delight. We arrived and were greeted politley by waiting staff. Our table was lovely in a cosy corner. Good decor and ambience. Prompt service for drinks at table. I ordered pork belly and my friend ordered the lamb. After a little wait the fod arrived. It was well presented and huge yorky! Then ample side servings of fresh vegetables and cauliflower cheese. Both meals cooked very well altho cauliflower was a little hard. Waitress was attentive and asked us if we wanted another more cooked cauliflower. We declined as there was much else to eat which was so tasy. Followed by puddings of lemon tart and sticky toffee. Both scrummy. Great value and service. We will be returning!
