read moreLocated in the Eastern Suburbs, The Claypot is quickly becoming a favorite among locals for its delicious and reasonably priced Greek and Cypriot cuisine. The decor may be average, but the food is top-notch, with dishes like the seafood claypot and the slow-cooked lamb receiving high praise. The charming atmosphere, complete with traditional music and friendly staff, adds to the overall dining experience. Although the portion sizes are generous, sharing between two or three people is recommended. The menu, though traditional and unchanging, offers authentic Greek flavors that transport diners to the Mediterranean. While the service can be hit or miss, the welcoming and affordable nature of The Claypot makes it a must-visit for anyone craving home-cooked Greek cuisine in a cozy setting.
Firstly, where do I begin: the kleftiko was the size of a small entree It looked and tasted like it had been boiled.
Have dined here with friends and family on a couple of occasions so it's due my review.
