I have a huge sweet tooth and bought a slice of the Banana Loaf and one of the Carrot Cake. Both vegan, gluten free (not vegan but fyi) and delicious. My friends enjoyed the coffee.

Stopped by for some coffee and a quick bite to eat for breakfast. This is such a neat coffee shop. We showed my little niece all the plants, explored the beauti... read more Stopped by for some coffee and a quick bite to eat for breakfast. This is such a neat coffee shop. We showed my little niece all the plants, explored the beautiful artwork, and ordered coffee and the egg sandwiches. We thought the coffee was great but the sandwich was just okay. The prices are very good for the quality of their coffee and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Would recommend Philter for their coffee!

The Lemon Souffle Rooibos tea and breakfast sandwich was tasty and hit the spot. Will definitely be backnext time we are in the area.

The food is no longer made to order. They only have breakfast sandwiches now which are average tasting. The coffee and espresso however is superb. I would consider myself somewhat of a coffee/espresso aficionado/expert, and I certainly enjoyed the longblack (essentially a smaller americano) and their regular coffee, especially iced. (my order with half honey and half mocha)Their latte wasn't as good but was still certainly above average.
