Late review but, back in January we finally visited sho notchos we can?t wait to go back. We ordered the nose runners the shrimpy batch is both were really good. We will definitely visit again.
Very much looked forward to finally buying nachos where I couldn’t. When we arrived, there was a line and a fog of smoke inside that had an unpleasant odor. After spending minutes waiting, we asked the cashier why there was a foul odor and she replied that it could be the hooka smoke from next door, which is owned by them. Knowing that the… More

2nd time here and mind you last time was 01/2021. The pictures speaks for itself. I decided to bring my kids because we are all foodies and they loved it. Another successful black owned business !
Food is good but definitely NOT family friendly place. We visited on a Sunday around noon. From looking at the restaurant sign, we assumed they were Asian-style nachos. The restaurant's name starts with Sho which we assumed was an Asian name. It isnot! When we walked in, we were extremely shocked. It had more of a club feel than that of a restaurant. The only thing settingit apart from a club was the fact that it didn't smell of cigarettes. They do have a hookah, though. Luckily, no one was usingit at the time. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a $100 bill rug, on the floor. Next to it is a roped off area with asofa and its own coffee table. Im assuming this is like a VIP area? There was loud rap music playing from several speakersplaced throughout the restaurant. I had to order my food in a very loud voice just to be heard. I also had to repeat myselfseveral times. We ordered to-go but decided to sit and wait. As we sat there, I realized that the rap music was actually the TVaudio. There were 3 big TVs displayed in different areas of the restaurant but they were all showing the same rap music video, which was being played on the speakers (i.e. loud rap music). I definitely felt out of place, being there with my family. Themusic videos showed half naked women and guns, amongst other things. Not something I wanted to have to explain to my kiddos atsuch a young age. Regardless, we tried to make the best out of the situation and made conversation with our kiddos to distractthem from the TVs. The restaurant has black fabric tablecloths, but no other covering (i.e. no plastic or glass-top). We noticedour tablecloth had crumbs on it. I would hope that they change them out after every customer but forgot to change the one at ourtable. I think it would be more sanitary and beneficial to do away with the fabric tablecloths and just sanitize the tablesafter every customer. Regardless of the condition/vibe of the restaurant, the food was surprisingly good
