The restaurant was clean, from the dining area to the restrooms, and the food met the usual IHOP standards. However, if corporate America allowed the hospitality workers—the ones who truly keep these places running—to have more of a voice, service might improve overall. Waitstaff earn only $2 to $3 an hour and depend heavily on tips, while management enjoys steady salaries and benefits. This system may have worked decades ago, but with the rising costs of essentials like gas, rent, and food, it’s time to rethink it. How can we expect excellent service and quick meal preparation when employees are stressed about making ends meet? It wasn’t just the waitstaff; cooks were also underpaid, which likely explains why there was only one server and one cook—who also happened to be the manager—on duty at this IHOP. I can’t blame these hardworking individuals for any shortcomings; the fault lies with corporate greed and bureaucracy. To achieve great service and quality food, restaurants need to raise server wages to at least $10 an hour and pay experienced cooks, who maintain food safety and sanitation, at least $25 an hour. Luckily, I was only there for a brief business meeting, so service and food quality weren’t my top concerns.
This IHOP delivers the usual quality you'd expect, but I especially appreciated the drive-thru for online orders—super convenient! The staff were incredibly friendly, which is why I felt compelled to leave a review for this popular chain. They truly made the visit enjoyable. I took off one star because the utensils were quite dirty, though they quickly replaced them with plastic ones when I pointed it out. Also, the booth I sat in was a little wobbly.
Ihop provided excellent service from start to finish! Everyone, from the greeter to the server and even the manager, was warm and welcoming. The cheeseburger from their menu was outstanding, and my grandson said the ice cream was the best he’s ever tasted. This place is perfect for a lunch outing with a child, and we will definitely be coming back.
It's been years since going to an IHOP and it's just as good. The service at this location was excellent, they were out of bluberry syrup and Journey brought be a whole flight of samplers to see it an alternative would suffice.
