Was Anonym at Vanilla Pod a mag?
We stumbled across this place on a Sunday afternoon whilst out for a drive and looking for somewhere to eat. We were lucky to get a table as we had not booked and basically just walked in (after Covid checks and all). It was a busy place, full tables of couples and families, but not noisy or crowded. The food was really good great menu, something for everyone. The staff were attentive and lovely. We would definitely... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Vanilla Pod:
Have been to vanilla pod a number of times but on my recent visit the menu had been changed. Prices had increased a lot (starters at around €11/€12)with no early bird option. Infant during our visit I seen 2 seperate couples leave before ordering, a result of menu change/price increase. It was also the first time I didn't enjoy my meal which was unfortunate as I usually love the food. If menu/prices change I will be... View all feedback.

A great thank you to all those who took care of our birthday today. the personal was amazing and eating was just delicious. the personal could not do enough for everyone and the cake they made was Georgian. highly recommended a visit .
Here at least 10 times in the last 3 years to have eaten or so it was always a pleasant experience. the server are simply fantastic, and eating while not excellent was very appealing. it was varied, delicious and with reasonable portions. Unfortunately, during our last visit about 2 months ago we found that the menu had changed and quite drastic. while the old menu was varied and tempting, and we have slowly mastered our way, most of them, the new is positiw pedestrian with little to wow or curly. we all tried to find something that appeals to us. as a result that all bar of one of us (group of 6) ended order burger (sometimes I have rarely known any of us to order anywhere) as the most attractive element on the menu. we were all underwhelmed. I guess we all have to do with increasing costs in each area, but the pricing on the new menu seemed too big when one looks from the outset, especially considering what a reduction in proportion, diversity, attractiveness and generally simple, cheaper to eat. the restaurant has therefore gone from a reasonable value for reasonable food to be bad for uninspiring foods. we will probably return at some point to give the vanilla pod another chance, but we will certainly be in no hurry to do so sorry.
Great spot, had the lamb shank was delicious, desert was so nice aswell, with a party of 6, not one of us had a bad meal! Will defo be back! Tiny wee bit cramped-space wise but the food makes up for that! Great variety on the menu
Calm atmosphere, great service and absolutely delicious food! Thank you and see you again soon!
