At Vanilla Pod, we pride ourselves on sourcing carefully chosen, seasonal ingredients from local suppliers. Our menu features specialties such as locally reared lamb and artisan cheeses, reflecting our commitment to quality and sustainability. Open from Thursday to Saturday between 5.00 pm and 10.00 pm, and on Sundays from 12.30 pm to 9.30 pm, we provide the ideal setting for a memorable dining experience. Please note, we are closed from Monday to Wednesday. It was my first time in Vanilla Pod restaurant, and I can say it was a wonderful experience, not only because of the great service, but the food was delicious . It is difficult to describe how good it was. I order 3 course meals, but it is charged separately, I mean, for the dinner there is no option to choose 2 or 3 course as you can find it on the early bird menu. Although there is not a option, I strongly recommend the dinner in Vanilla Pod restaurant! Team are friendly (congratulations Caroline! Sorry I don't remember all the staff's names! . Only the atmosphere was loudly, maybe because there were 3 celebrations at the same time. Anyway, I will come back, definitely! Special because I couldn't try the Pork in the main menu (they served all the portions at the time I got in the restaurant . Congratulations, guys for good quality and good service!
Great spot, had the lamb shank was delicious, desert was so nice aswell, with a party of 6, not one of us had a bad meal! Will defo be back! Tiny wee bit cramped-space wise but the food makes up for that! Great variety on the menu
A warm welcome on arrival. Modern yet very comforting interior design intimate but not overbearing. Very comfy chairs. An excellent menu full of variety. Charming staff who confidently and quickly took our order. Superbly presented and delicious starters, main course and dessert, all competitively priced and perfect proportions. All rounded off with a surprise brownie and sparkler for my (delighted albeit slightly embarrassed) 21 year old son, whose birthday we were celebrating. Well done management team. You have created a really lovely restaurant wonderfully and perfectly executed by your team in the kitchen and front of house. They are a credit to your vision. A very well deserved five out of five from us.

The staff at Vanilla Pod are welcoming and friendly. Sadly, both the starter and main course were disappointing. We both ordered brie to start, but it was tough and lacked flavor. My medium fillet steak was cooked perfectly on one side but blue on the other. Considering the price, the presentation was quite poor. Additionally, the flowers on the windowsill near our table were dead, and the water in the glass jar was brown. I would return for the carvery at the Keltic Bar instead, as it has a great atmosphere and the food looked excellent.
