They may have something good on the... read more I hate to say something bad about a place in Ireland but the food here was beyond bad. We had sticky ribs and chicken curry. They may have something good on the menu but be careful with these two items! That said, we had an excellent time drinking beer and talking with the locals in the pub.

Despite this inconvenience, this pub offered a true Irish experience. A lot of local history was preserved, creating a unique atmosphere.

We felt very at ease bringing our kids along in the early evening, and we had the opportunity to talk with some local residents which added a nice touch to our visit. We would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Tasty food, friendly staff and reasonably priced what more could you ask for. Like the authentic feel to the place (something that many places try to recreate but had a small issue with a table that had no top on it....... Just the narrow pedestal to place food on, all for authentic but tables (with tops! are fairly basic requirement ! Have been there a few times now and keep checking to see if table fixed hopefully I will be surprised one day soon
