Tom's Town offers a fantastic ambiance that captures the spirit of the 1920s remarkably well. The cocktails were excellent, expertly crafted without overemphasizing any single type of spirit. However, the food was just average, and the restaurant isn't particularly renowned for its dining options. What User doesn't like about Tom's Town Distilling Co:
It wasn't clear that they essentially only offered a bar menu. We might have ordered from it, but the service was so slow that after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for our first drinks, we decided to pay our bill and go somewhere else. View all feedback.
Tasting was very interesting, lots of good info and explanation of the distilling process. The tour portion was fine, could have done without the political speech that was included with the history of the town. Otherwise, enjoyed it.
The cocktails were well thought out and exquisitely delicious.
It was a great place. The only down fall was service took forever and we got 1 order wrong but, I get it. Hard to find help and people make mistakes but, I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK. Other than that it was the perfect place.
I made a reservation for 9 people at 7pm. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks ordered, and another hour to get our food ordered. It wasn’t super busy, but there were only two servers working.. so I get it. After ordering food, half our table got their food in 30 minutes. After another hour, the other half got their food. Half of mine was undercooked and half was cold. We also didn’t have silverware right away. They did comp half the meals and some of the drinks but overall we were very disappointed. I would come back for drinks but would never dine there again.
Had a great time! Service was exceptional and the decor was superb.
