our restaurant in mexiko, to sit or go out. a perfect small diving area with a wide menu, all well made. we usually get tacos, quesadillas and turtles, but all in the menu seems wonderful and they offer a complete variety of meat on the dinge like tripe, which I absolutely have no interest, but it is good to know that they do everything, not just pander. faster and always friendly service, even if we have a child who... What User doesn't like about Tacos El Matador:
went there today and was not impressed by the definitiw. got a simple bark burrito that tasted as if it was either old meat or cooked on a dirty grill. beef should not taste like garnel and it was a super fat burrito. even my wife asada tacos tasted like garnel. in my house in the müllentsorgung becuase I will eat everything and everything, but I will not eat here. I think it wasn't worth spending $22. View all feedback.
Great rice and beans. If a Mexican restaurant can cook beans and rice properly, they should not be in the restaurant business..
Our go-to Mexican restaurant, for sit down or take out. A perfect little divey place with a broad menu, all well done. We mostly get tacos, quesadillas, and tortoise but everything in the menu appears to be wonderful and they offer a complete variety of meats all the way to things like tripe that I have absolutely no interest in, but it's good to know that they do everything, don't just pander. Quick and always friendly service, even when we have a child throwing things or throwing up, or are indecisive or dumb about something.
Love the al Pastor tacos! The meat is very tender. The salsa is great too. Lime game is weak, though so ask for extra if you like a lot of lime like me. My friend said the fish taco was amazing. He's gotten it several times now. Booth seats are all a little wonky but it just adds to the ambiance. Small place but definitely worth a try.
Compared to other locations, tacos are cheaper here which is nice. I liked the crispy tripas. Definitely crispy, but a little on the salty side, other than that, it was good. Service is good. I asked for the spiciest sauce and they did give me that. But I was hoping they'd give me the other sauces too, my fault for not clarifying. The gordita was okay.
Excellent, authentic, and inexpensive tacos! Highly recommend. Definitely a hole in the wall type place but if you like authentic tacos then you know that's a good thing. Pastor were some of the best I've had and asada was very good also!
