Lucky Boys - Kansas City

I must admit, I'm a big fan of dive bars. While I appreciate a trendy lounge or an upscale bar, I would choose a cozy dive bar over a stylish rooftop bar any day. So when I heard about Lucky Boys from a friend, I was intrigued. The name didn't give much away about the ambiance, but I decided to check it out early one evening. As my eyes adjusted to the dimly lit interior, I realized that I had stumbled upon one of the best dive bars in Kansas City. The best part is, it feels like a hidden gem. Whether it's the velvet paintings on the walls, the laid-back bartenders, or the selection of beers from a small microbrewery in St. Louis that I had never tried before, everything about this place is fantastic. It may not be the cleanest spot in town, but the atmosphere is reminiscent of the perfect college hangout where time doesn't matter and drinks aren't overpriced. I can't wait to go back again.

Lucky Boys is a classic bar and lounge located in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. They offer a wide variety of delicious bar drinks and excellent bar food items including pizza, poutines, burgers, and Phillys. Thursday nights at Lucky Boys are dedicated to pizza, and we thoroughly enjoyed our order of vodka sauce pizza topped with cheese, peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms, and arugula. If you happen to visit on a night when poutine is on the menu, make sure not to miss out as they serve the best poutines I've ever had. They also have a pool table for guests to enjoy. I highly recommend checking out Lucky Boys in the KC West Bottoms.

This is the ultimate spot for a dive bar experience. They have a variety of delicious rotating dishes, including pizza, burgers, and poutine. What more could you possibly want?

This bar is a good atmosphere, super chill and the food is phenomenal!! The bartender Jamie was super brilliant and nice! I'm back. The veggie burger was amazing!!! Don't miss this!

A very cool bar with fantastic food at a great price. Simple, clean, and it has a vibe reminiscent of the original Stockyards.
