The Mapo Tofu was absolutely delicious! It tasted incredibly fresh, with individual pieces of tofu perfectly integrated into the sauce. It wasn’t overly heavy, yet the sauce was still very flavorful. I will definitely order this dish again.
The Hunan-style Tofu is what you’d typically find at many Chinese restaurants, but it was still very tasty. The portion sizes are generous, so if you’re planning to share, go fo... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kin Lin:
The waiter is very friendly and knowledgeable about food on menu. The hot and sour soup was pretty good. Spicy chicken we ordered was alright, I didn’t find it spicy. The hot spicy chicken wings were very crispy but too greasy and I thought they were overcooked. View all feedback.
We’re in town for a doctoral audition and stopped by Kin Lin for dinner. My husband and I are new to being gluten-free in addition to vegan, so we asked lots of questions and our waitress was amazing. She answered all of them and went back multiple times to make sure we got our dietary needs met. We ended up getting spring rolls and yang chow vegetable fried rice which was absolutely amazing. My husband claimed that he didn’t want fried rice prior to coming, but left not a since grain on his plate. It is so stinking good!
I just ordered delivery from here and ordered two regular entrees from their vegetarian section because I wanted to try them. Their online menu states entrees are vegan unless otherwise stated , the fact that they even mention the word vegan in their menu really makes me trust that they know what it means. I ordered the Mapo tofu and tofu hunan style. I put into the notes the word vegan just to be super sure. The Mapo tofu was absolutely delicious. It tasted so fresh that I could taste actual ginger pieces in the sauce, wasn 't super duper heavy, but the sauce was still really savory. I will order this again. The tofu hunan style is what you see in most Chinese places, still delicious nonetheless. Their portion sizes are huge, if you want leftovers, get their large portions. The prize is also extremely reasonable. Even though I got delivery my entrees were still hot when they arrived.
I'm not sure about whether the items are vegan. I would assume they are. They have a vegetarian section on the menu. Staff are super kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the tofu was cooked perfectly. The sizes of the orders are HUGE so the high prices make sense. I'd order from them again.
KIN LIN is my favorite restaurant in town! It specializes in authentic Hunan-style Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere and decor are pleasing, and the service is excellent. I hope you stay open for many years to come!
We stopped in town for a promotion and decided to have dinner at Kin Lin. My husband and I are newly following a gluten-free, vegan diet, so we had a lot of questions. Our waitress was fantastic—she answered all of our inquiries and even checked back several times to ensure our dietary needs were met. We ordered the spring rolls and Yang Chow vegetable fried rice, which were absolutely incredible. My husband initially said he didn’t want fried rice, but he ended up finishing every single grain on his plate. It was just that good!
