Wanted KC BBQ; refused to go inside anywhere during lockdown. Remembered this from Queer Eye, and got there right as they opened. No line, no wait.Finished getting buckled in my car, looked up, and the queue was already starting. Excellent timing, and the best turkey sandwich of my LIFE.

My 375th 'cue stop on a 35 state BBQ odyssey (the 19th in Kansas) was disappointing. $15 bought a two meat (ribs, burnt ends) plate with a side of french fries, and a can of Diet Coke. First, the wait. I was sixth in line at 11:13, and the food finally appeared at 11:51. Three customers in line behind me gave up, and took their business elsewhere. As for the food, the burnt ends were dry, tough, and flavorless. After three bites, the rest went in the trash. The heavily sauced ribs didn 't have a bad rub, but they were as far removed from separating cleanly at the bite as one could possibly get. A steak knife, which I had with me, turned out to be very much in order. And even the fries turned out to be chewy! From start to finish, this was a one hour and forty minute lunch stop. If you choose to dine here, plan accordingly.

Visited 01APR2023 Heard great things about this being one of the top BBQ spots in the KC Metro. Whomever made those lists needs to expand their pallet. Waited 30 min in line with only half a dozen people in front of me. Waited another 30 min to get my food after ordering. I definitely don't think the food ranks in the top spots for KC BBQ.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Best bbq sauce and baked beans I’ve ever had! The customer service was amazing also!! You can tell so much love and dedication goes into the food!

The business is small but, has outdoor patio seating. Food is reasonably priced and is good. BBQ Ribs, burnt ends, rib tips and sausage. Turkey and ham sandwiches. Great baked beans! Hours are 11a-3p. Thu, Fri, Sat as of Nov. 2022. Best to go early so you can get everything on the menu. Wait til after 1pm and your limited to mainly sandwiches or whatever is available.
