This was my first time at Higher Grounds. Although I'm not a coffee drinker, I found plenty of other drink options to satisfy my cravings for carbonation. I stopped by to just check it out and try the coffee and snacks. The coffee isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it good. Just not my flavor or profile I guess. Also the bakery case was completely empty at 1:30, there were a few wrapped up items still and the one I had was pretty solid but nothing special. Overall just not much of a reason to come back or go out of my way, but nothing you'd particularly want to avoid. View all feedback.
I usually visits here because of their cinnamon rolls but the at atmosphere of this place makes it worthwhile! It is an open area to study or just chill with friends or solo. Good customer service, I enjoy going here regularly for sweets and just to hang out.
I often visit this restaurant to study, and I really enjoy it. Throughout the day, there are moments when people are chatting or having meetings, but that doesn't distract me while I study, although it might for some others. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. One of my favorite features is that I can get pumpkin spice coffee even when it's out of season. Overall, it's definitely a place worth checking out!

I discovered this cafe on Google Maps while passing through Kansas City. At first, I was a bit hesitant when I saw it was located between a church and a Christian bookstore, but I desperately needed a caffeine fix. Since I was already there, I decided to give it a shot. The friendly staff welcomed me and made my iced latte to perfection. It was honestly the best I've ever had. I've bookmarked this place for my next visit to town. It was so good that I can't help but feel that Jesus is blessing the beans in the backroom!
Love this coffee shop. Coffee tastes great (I love their caramel macchiato! and is a great place for studying. Plus I always feel super safe there, since there are a few shady areas around here.
