I stopped in here with a couple of friends of mine, to try the buffet. The place was much cleaner than I expected, and their buffet has an amazing array of different food choices. Everything from the expected Chinese, to a taco bar, and traditional American comfort food. It's very easy to find something that you will like on the buffet, and the prices were reasonable. There was a TV going with YouTube like clips runn... View all feedback.
What Willie West doesn't like about China Town Super Buffet:
This place used to be really good. Re-opened with new management. Very very bad food. They have no clue how to cook Chinese food. It gave me diarrhea and I couldn't finish anything. Had to run to the restroom immediately after leaving. The fountain drinks are watered down and taste like sugar water. The sushi tastes days old and refrigerated. I'm still sick at the stomache two days later. Waste of time and money. Ver... View all feedback.
This restaurant was once fantastic, but since it has reopened under new management, the quality of the food has taken a significant downturn. It's evident that they lack a proper understanding of how to prepare Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately, I ended up with an upset stomach and couldn't finish my meal. I had to rush to the restroom as soon as I left. The fountain drinks were diluted and tasted overly sweet, almost like sugary water. The sushi felt stale and had a flavor of being overly refrigerated. Even two days later, I'm still not feeling well. It was a total waste of time and money, and I'm incredibly frustrated!
I had a pleasant experience at the buffet, but I believe they should reconsider the inclusion of "Chinese" in the name. The buffet featured a section dedicated to Mexican cuisine, another blending Chinese and American dishes, and a final area for salads, desserts, and sushi rolls. My only issue was the absence of wasabi; instead, I was handed a bottle labeled "Hot Mustard." All in all, it’s a commendable buffet, but it would be more fitting to describe it as a fantastic multicultural buffet, as there isn’t much traditional Chinese food on offer. On the plus side, they do have antibacterial lights in the restrooms! (See pic.)
The food was a bit bland for both my family and me. Since the restaurant has just opened, I hope it gets better with time. The price was $13.95, which included a drink, and you need to pay before being seated. We went during lunchtime.
10/10 would never do again, food had been under the lights so long it was dried out, egg rolls were super over seasoned, we were charged for an adult when our child was with us even though we told them he was a child, Mac and cheese is just over cooked noodles in nacho cheese. The dessert bar had cookies you can get from Walmart for like $2. The only good things this place has going for it are music, fountain soda and the fruit which obviously comes from a can which you can?t really screw up. My advice don?t waste your money and go somewhere else.
Honestly if I could I would give zero stars the food was terrible we have had diarrhea for two days. I?m Mexican and the options they have for Mexican food is awful the meat taste like it?s been sitting in the same pan for weeks or months and like they just reheat it. Seriously the salsa in the meats do not taste fresh and the Caldo tasted old . They don?t have a big variety for the Chinese food and the American food is all dry. I?ll never come here again. I?m sorry.
