Amerisports Brew Pub - Kansas City

I went to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and was disappointed by the limited lunch menu. It definitely did not live up to the hype. The burger was good, but the chicken pliers were extremely tough, causing the breading to slip off the chicken making it difficult to pick up. Overall, I was not impressed. However, our waitress was very pleasant and kind.

The restaurant offers a limited selection of food and beer. The combination of the lachs (salmon) with overly sweet sweet potatoes does not work well together. I would suggest that they consider using regular or sweet potatoes instead of the overly sweet ones.

The overall experience at this restaurant was not great. The smell at the bar was unpleasant and the spinach dip was overly oily. My chicken pliers were undercooked, but they were quickly fixed. The service was lacking, as our server forgot about a salad order and tried to charge us for the raw chicken. The only positive was that the manager eventually comped the meal. The bartenders seemed indifferent and the prices were not justified by the mediocre food and service. Overall, it was a disappointing experience considering the high prices.

I came to this place with my boyfriend and we are both very satisfied, the food was delicious, we had crispy wings, the turkey melt and brownie with vanilla ice cream, everything was really good. The service was good as well. We definitely recommen this place.
