Friendly staff, delicious food and dog friendly patio! They were very accommodating and turned on the heaters outside for us and our pooch. We had drinks, the soup of the day (potato soup) and pistachio chicken, which we loved. A bit pricey but their mealsare unique and creative. We brought our own mat for our pup but they did have a water bowl.
Got dinner here on our final night in Kanab and was it ever a great choice. Food here is a bit more creative and incredibly delicious. Everything just tastes so darn good. I had the chicken and it might have been the best chicken dish I've ever had. Myfriend got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and loved it as well. They have a good drink menu as well and the staff was friendly.
The best meal we have after 1.5 weeks in our journey to national parks. Passed by this charming town, Kanab for lunch on our way to the Grand Canyon North Rim NS. We got ourselves the Tropical Piggy, Pistachio Chicken, Big Sexy Burger and Carrot cake asdessert. The tropical piggy was superb, with a very big chunk of slow cooked pork belly which was kind of melt in your mouth.The chicken was tender and went well with the generous pistachio source/cream, and it was excellent. The burger was not badeither. On the other hand, the carrot cake was not really our favorite, with too much cream icing and a little too dense.Overall we have a satisfied great meal.
I did not think I would find food like this in this town. The ambiance was good here but the food is where this place shines. Unique flavors and interesting dishes. The salmon I had was incredible with the coconut rice and peppers. Then the Jamaican porkbowl I think it?s called was so freaking good. Tender pork with the coconut rice just melts in your mouth. Even the black beanveggie sliders were good and full of flavor! I would 100% recommend this place if you?re looking for something different thanthe hundreds of American and Mexican restaurants in the area.
Great little restaurant. I got the grilled trout and it is excellent! The asparagus is perfectly cooked and the dressings are all made in-house (which I do not see often). My only recommendation would be better music. The radio is OK but not when theystart talking about news etc. That said, the food and service is spot on! ???? The key lime is to die for, just like in KeyWest!
