This is NOT an authentic Japanese restaurant. Although the interior could look authentic, the rest is not. We ordered the roasted tofu and two tenshoku sets. Here are some of the not so authentic things: The sets have sashimi but no soy sauce until we asked BBQ beef was cold The side dishes are not really Japanese side dishes Miso soup is Bland, without seaweed or Tofu Fried fish tasted bad rice is undercooked napkin... One of the music eats? Whenever you are in the Kona area of Big Island. No visit to Kona is completed unless you have lunch or dinner in Teshima?s. Mention anyone living in the state of Hawaii, Teshima?.us Locals know it. Old school kindness and hospitality. The first time to eat Japanese food? The staff will take care of you. Many parking spaces in front of and next to the petrol station. View all feedback.
