I took an older friend there for lunch. She was very stressed about a problem with her car. We arrived too early for booking, but the staff was very understanding and helpful, which was very appreciated. The food, wine and service were all very good.
The food and staff were good and appreciated they were busy. But took exactly 45 minutes to receive a drink, food was arriving before our drinks arrived. With saying that we would dine again, and food was good.
We really enjoyed our meal, and thought it was very good value for 3 courses. We did find it very warm in front of the stove fire, but we needed to dry out from the pouring rain! We felt Covid safe, with plenty of hand gel, distanced tables, and track and trace obvious to sign in. Thanks for a lovely evening.
