Celebrated family member birthday dinner. the waiter who served was excellent, informative, but not to his fault he was obviously working other tables and the establishment is understaffed. we were a party of nine persons, and were served dinnermain course two hours after we were seated. the food was good, but waiting so long was unfortunate. The restaurant is very bigand obviously very popular but being way understaffed with waiters and chefs they have lost their personal touch and are nolonger im my perspective a 5 star restaurant.

Dined at the bar as we always do. The bar staff is excellent! The wines list is impressive as is the selection of wines by the glass. Sushi is on point and very good! I had a NY strip that was okay but not sure worth $75.00. Ambiance in NYC vibe likewithout the travel and the crime!! Cheers!

I waited to come a second time and try something different. This place is very good, may now be my go to steak house on Long Island! Everything from the wine selection, to the appetizers, steaks, deserts, and service is very good! You have to get thetable side prepared caprice salad! The octopus appetizer is very generous and the steaks are very very good!

It’s a stylish place, quite spectacular that generates a cozy feeling. We started at the bar with some cocktails and appetizers then sat for the dinner. The food is okay, was expecting more but it felt underwhelming somehow. The bolognese pastawe got was on the salty side, the salmon wasn’t that tasty and the steak felt pretty basic and over burned (we ordered itmedium rare). The service was fast and the staff was knowledgeable. To conclude, while the restaurant is modish for going on adate or celebrating an occasion, the food was basic at best, without anything special going on.

My wife and I really like Opus. Some of the menu selections are overpriced, however, there are an equal number of items that are underpriced, such as the chicken liver pâté, and the Sunday night prix fix. The service is excellent and the ambiance isstylish and clean. One thing to note however, I am surprised to see some customers dress like vagabonds. I almost wish Opus hada dress code.
