Delightful experience! Colorful café! Mom and I got the Salmon Benedict and split it, as well as got lavender mimosas! The lavender very much on the sweet side but definitely worth trying. I can?t believe I?ve never been to this place. It was fun totry something new in Jackson. Very friendly staff. The smashed potatoes were bomb! Also, yes, get the beignet donuts.
We had been here before and the food was great! This time I Ordered the Philly Sandwich and maybe they ran out of meat because they put one sliver of meat and a a few onions. It was about 90% bread and 10% meat and veggies. The part that bothered me themost was how rude the owner and employees treated us. When I kindly asked the waitress why my friends plate was not what shehad ordered she responded harshly and it felt like she was treating me bad for how I spoke with an accent. The owner wassarcastic and the waitresses were rude. I didn?t ask for a refund but it was a very expensive plate of bread.
