**Oko: A Mixed Dining Experience** Oko presents an inviting atmosphere ideal for relaxation, featuring reasonable prices between $10 and $20 per person. While the service is generally satisfactory, some diners note variability in attentiveness. The menu offers several vegetarian options, though concerns about cross-contamination arise for those with allergies. Feedback on the food is mixed, from dry sushi to standouts like the Ichiban and Catalina rolls. The cleanliness and decor receive praise, despite some temp complaints. Overall, Oko shows promise, but guests are advised to approach with caution, especially regarding quality and potential health concerns. Free parking adds to the convenience.

This restaurant serves incredible sushi and has a varied menu, so you really can't make a bad choice. The atmosphere is welcoming for families, and it seems to be family-owned and operated. The staff and management are very friendly, and food orders are prepared fairly quickly. I tried the beef teriyaki, which isn’t on the official menu, and rated it 4 stars because it was a bit overcooked, but I think that can be easily adjusted. Overall, I’m giving the restaurant a strong 5 stars, and I appreciate that it stays open late, especially since many places in Jackson close early.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in gold country. Photos don't capture how special this place is. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the flavors are outstanding. I was surprised by the quality of the food; it might just surpass my favorite sushi spot back home. Absolutely fantastic!

Great spot for a quick lunch! There are raw, non-raw, and vegetarian options. Service was pleasant and the food was well made. The Omega 3 and T&T rolls were particularly awesome.

This restaurant offers excellent sushi and a great menu with plenty of choices. It feels like a family-friendly establishment and is clearly family-owned and operated. The staff and management are very friendly, and food orders are prepared quickly. I tried the beef teriyaki, which isn’t on the menu, and I would rate it 4 stars because it was a bit overcooked, but I'm sure that can be easily fixed. Overall, I give the entire restaurant 5 stars, especially since it stays open late, which is a rarity for places in Jackson that tend to close early.

I've been dining at Oko since I was a child, but over the past five or six years, the quality of their food has drastically declined. My sesame chicken was dry and tough, and the rice was also dry. For $15, most places in the valley offer more than just three pieces of California roll with their bento. Additionally, the wasabi was bland and brown.
