Always the best food at the Desert Room. Highly recommend the Monte Cristo. Great and friendly staff too! :
Food was only OK. I would not reccomend the monte cristo or the Idaho nachos. The steak dip was pretty good. Service was good. 3/5 overallNot many options in Jackpot so this was alright
The food was excellent, but the service could use some improvement. The prices were also reasonable. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5.
We've eaten at the desert room many times over the years so I want to preface this review with the fact that the service is always outstanding and the wait staff are hard working and attentive. That said the food was largely inedible this visit. My husband's French dip was dried out old meat on a stale hot dog bun. The fries were clearly old fries that had been reheated. My English muffin was not only burnt but also stale. Eggs, sausage and hash browns were fine. Coffee was good but my cup had a hair. Overall unpleasant food experience but again the front of the house service was still top notch and we don't fault them for the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen. We had a large group. Our waitress was friendly and handled our table very well. Our food came out quickly and looked really good. The best dish was the chicken fried steak. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
