My favorite place in Ithaca. Great atmosphere and kava bar tenders, especially Gaia! Like a second home.
It was a really wonderful experience with an amazing knowledgeable bar host. I will be back for sure. I recommend mixing the coconut vanilla with the chocolate almond kava, amazing flavors.
The sound in this location for live bands is amazing, something I had not experienced before. Kava is tasty, staff is friendly.
Rad! This place used to be a speakeasy and if you ask real nice the bartender will even show you some of the hidden stuff from old prohibition days while you're sipping on your Kava!

I have discovered a unique and inviting social destination that isn't focused on alcohol. The staff is consistently friendly and the atmosphere at Kava is wonderfully down-to-earth. They offer a variety of herbal teas, both caffeinated and decaf, as well as vegan dessert options.

The drink tastes very special. To me, it mixed the environment of East and atmosphere of West vey well. There aren’t many people at night, so you can have a very great time with your friends. Just few of you can have a nice deep talk. Or a group of you can have a party in a special room.
I have had some really great experiences here, definitely go for the fifth cup. Even better, make it a bowl! Great place and great people.
I love this place! It has great atmosphere, music, art, special events, a dance floor, Kava in flavors and great organic teas and tasty treats. The owners are awesome and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend a visit, especially if you enjoy eclectic, artsy places with a cozy atmosphere.
Aside from the Kava, this is a fantastic spot that hosts unique events. While the selection of drinks and food is limited, the offerings are distinctive and of high quality. The atmosphere is very laid-back, making it a wonderful resource for the Ithaca community.
Finding the place can be tricky; there’s a small white door almost hidden by surrounding leaves, so if you're driving by for the first time, go slowly. I also didn’t notice any designated parking for the shop. Once you enter, the store is located downstairs. It has a lounge area that feels comfortable and cozy, along with a bar-like seating area. The girl working there was a wonderful singer and super friendly. I’d definitely like to visit again if I get the chance!
