MIX Tapas Kitchen and Bar - Ithaca

On a little holiday when we found this lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. We splurged with their cheesecake for dessert.....to die for!

Food was great however the wait for a table was way longer than we were told. If they say 30 minuets be prepared to wait up to an hour!

Although there was a slow start to be greeted by a server, proprietor Ms. Mixx took notice and immediately rectified the matter. After ordering, the food came out quickly and hot. The varied cuisine was delicious and wonderfully presented. Vegan and vegetarian options abound. Exceptional value with nice size portions to choose two plates without being full and priced very nicely. We will be regulars on our trips to Ithaca.

The range and quality of food surprised us a great deal, it was far more creative and tasty than we expected! The ambiance was eclectic but not really in a good way. The place feels like it's trying to find itself with a little bit of Far East culture over here, modern art over there, and a casual umbrella-covered patio over there. That said, we will absolutely be back for another special night out!

A very enjoyable meal, served tapas style. Wait staff was knowledgeable and helpful. We were met by the owner/chef, who came out to introduce herself and check on our meal.
