Was Chantal Solomons at Ithaca Bakery a mag?
I think it’s one of the best bakeries that I’ve ever visited. The pastries and sandwiches are amazing. The apple puffs and chocolate croissants are delicious. We discovered this place only on the second day of our stay and we ended up eating breakfast our remaining trip and even picked up our dinner/lunches from this place. We also bought a lot of pastries for our trip back home. They sell a lot of local food product... View all feedback.
What Amelie Dooley dislikes about Ithaca Bakery:
Well unfortunately I didn't read the previous review, and got the tofu scramble which was really not good (no salt, undercooked). BUT I got the vegan chocolate bundt cake which was excellent. They have 2 vegan sandwich options (which I didn't get, but should have), 2 vegan tofu scramble options (DON'T GET), 2 types of vegan scones, 3 vegan desserts which all looked good. I also got a good soy latte. People were reall... View all feedback.

I stopped by Ithaca Bakery with a friend for a relaxing brunch during a pitstop. Despite living in Ithaca for a year, it was my first time visiting and I regret not coming sooner! I really enjoyed the Sunday morning atmosphere and the wide range of delicious food and drinks available. Although I had already eaten breakfast, I tried the Butter Cookie Chai, which was both delicious and reasonably priced in a large cup. I look forward to trying their pastries and desserts in the future. My friend ordered the Brain Power bowl with ahi tuna, avocado, grapes, goat cheese, quinoa, and other fresh toppings, and it was fantastic. As I am leaving Ithaca this week, I plan to stop by for breakfast before heading to the city. The restaurant has a spacious restroom, both indoor and outdoor seating options, and a slightly confusing ordering process that is clearly explained with detailed instructions. I believe they have been around for 100 years, making them a legendary spot in town. A definite must-try!
Cool road trip! Fresh coffee, bagel sandwiches, fruit and bakery for the street, and a craft beer refrigerator for some beautiful brews at the destination hotel to enjoy! Service was great, very friendly. I noticed the sign for $5 pints 4-6 PM. If I ever find myself in Ithaca again, I would surely find myself here again!
Great bakery! Love the bagels! The Ira sandwich is really good too. Quality lox and cream cheese. Lots of seating and helpful staff. The coffee was pretty good too. The hazelnut flavor coffee hits the spot. Parking lot can get crowded. Hope this helps!
This restaurant offers excellent quality food! They can get quite busy during lunchtime because of their fabulous reputation, but don't let that deter you - it's definitely worth the wait. They have plenty of vegetarian options and also serve traditional deli fare. Their baked goods are all top-notch. I recently tried the Michigan Hollow and Anne of Danby sandwiches, both of which were delicious. I highly recommend trying either of these options! I can't wait to return and sample more of their menu. Their service is fantastic as well.
How can anyone not love this bakery? It is so unique because it is not only a bakery and a café, but they also serve alcohol (they even do happy hour of 4-6). The food is always fresh and delicious. They have daily specialties. They are baked goods are also very good. You are a lot of drinks options: tea, coffee, cocoa and smoothies. They have local wines, cider wines and beers. They have seating in the indoor and outdoor areas (including small greenhouses with picnic tables). They sell cool goods.
