Ithaca Ale House
Ithaca Ale House
Description
Ithaca Ale House offers a welcoming atmosphere with spacious indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying a sunny spring evening with local brews like the popular Flower Power ale. The menu, though straightforward, excels with well-prepared classics such as the French Dip and expertly cooked burgers—particularly the highly praised Perfect Burger. Crispy fries and standout appetizers like French Onion soup and Buffalo Egg Rolls complement the experience. Friendly, attentive service enhances the visit, though wait times and street noise can occasionally impact comfort. While slightly pricey, Ithaca Ale House remains a must-visit for quality food and a genuine local vibe.

A little pricey but overall a great dining experience. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant
The Ale House has been a favorite place of mine for a long time. The new location offers more room indoors and outdoors. The food is always bangin’, I’ve never had a bad meal here. The French Onion soup and the Buffalo Eggs Rolls are the best appetizers on their menu. Their lunch/dinner entrees are all spectacular, can’t go wrong with a salad, burger or one the pizzas. Finally their Mrs. O’Leary’s cookies are the best things on earth! Served with a glass of milk, these cookies are a meal themselves but so delicious. The reason I marked this one star short, was this place is a little pricey.
The staff was incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed a lovely table on the terrace along with a delicious local beer called Flower Power. We ordered two burgers and were not disappointed. My daughter opted for the Perfect Burger, while I went for the American Classic Burger. Both were cooked to perfection and had that unmistakable taste of backyard cookouts that real burgers should have. The fries were crispy and delightful as well. Our server, Bella, was exceptional—a true professional who made our experience even better. I highly recommend Ithaca Ale House as the ideal spot for a great burger.

Was in the Commons and we wanted to try out a local place and ended up at the Ithaca Ale House. The service was great. The food was really good. We especially enjoyed the French Dip! The only regret is we did not get there early enough to get a seatoutside, which we were hoping for.
