Living in this area for a year and having my daughter visiting from PA seemed like the perfect time to visit the Commons. The flowers were beautiful and the atmosphere uplifting and fun. I had heard the best burgers could be found at the Ithaca Ale House. Very friendly staff a nice table on the patio a tasty local beer called Flower Power and two burgers. We were not disappointed. The Perfect Burger that my daughter ordered was done to perfection, medium rare and my American Classic burger was medium and again done to perfection. These are real burgers, when you bite into one you get a flavor that screams back yard cook outs. The fries were crisp and crunchy. Our server Bella was so great, she is a true professional. I highly recommend the Ithaca Ale House the perfect local place to grab a burger.

All in all the service was very friendly but a bit slow given how busy they were (on a Sunday night! The food was really good. The menu looks basic but everything was well made. I had the French Dip and the taste and textures were perfect. My daughter had the Perfect burger, and I was really impressed with the cook medium, juicy, pink, but nothing leaking out on the plate. Sometimes you have to appreciate the basics. The draught list was good, but due to the slowish service I only enjoyed one pint. It was good! I'd come back, good experience.

The food is always bangin?, I?ve never had a bad meal here. The French Onion soup and the Buffalo Eggs Rolls are the bestappetizers on their menu. Their lunch/dinner entrees are all spectacular, can?t go wrong with a salad, burger or one thepizzas. Finally their Mrs. O?Leary?s cookies are the best things on earth! Served with a glass of milk, these cookies are ameal themselves but so delicious. The reason I marked this one star short, was this place is a little pricey.

We especially e... read more Was in the Commons and we wanted to try out a local place and ended up at the Ithaca Ale House. The service was great. The food was really good. We especially enjoyed the French Dip! The only regret is we did not get there early enough to get a seatoutside, which we were hoping for.
