D.p. Dough - Ithaca
D.p. Dough
Description
D.P. Dough has elicited mixed reactions, showcasing both culinary highs and lows. While some diners rave about the delectable calzones, highlighting their gooey cheese and flavorful marinara, others bemoan poorly cooked dishes and subpar service, citing rude staff and frustrating delivery experiences. Despite the occasional complaint of tough chicken and bland sauces, late-night patrons find solace in the restaurant's timely delivery, especially after a long day. The inviting atmosphere and appealing vegan options also provide a pleasant surprise, making D.P. Dough a compelling choice for late-night cravings—though some recommend navigating the order process with caution.

Those calzones must have something extraordinary in them! I can't believe how delicious they are. The gooey cheese oozing from the fresh, soft bread crust, paired with the rich marinara sauce—it's simply amazing. I could really go for another calzone right now; I just can't resist! And by the way, it totally reminds me of Ben Wyatt from Parks and Rec—so hilarious!
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant; it was even more beautiful than I expected. The vegan calzone and vegan sticks were both outstanding. The interior wasn't crowded, likely because most customers choose to take their food to go.
The store manager and staff here are undoubtedly the rudest I've encountered in the city. Delivery can take hours, and sometimes it doesn’t even arrive. If you try to call for an update, you'll be met with hostility and they might even block your number. It seems like this place exists just to exploit college students. When you reach out for help, they won't let you speak to the manager because they block callers who inquire about their orders. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
The team at D.p. Dough truly knows how to craft an outstanding calzone. Our order arrived fast, hot, and tasted fantastic. We had two calzones, garlic parmesan boneless wings, and a Reese’s dessert—all perfect. Thanks for the wonderful experience, D.p. Dough!
After a long day of hiking and struggling to find a place to eat, we were relieved to discover that D.P. Dough was open at 11 PM and offered delivery. We ordered from their menu online, unsure if they were really operating so late since we've never seen a restaurant open at that hour. But after a short wait, we got a call saying the driver was at our hotel! They truly saved us and satisfied our hunger. The calzones from their menu were delicious, exactly what we needed after a tiring day. Now that we know D.P. Dough stays open late, we'll definitely be ordering from them again!
