The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The classic bacon cheeseburger was a standout; it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive, making sure that my meal was enjoyable from start to finish, also receiving a 5-star rating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting and vibrant, contributing to an overall fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend trying the classic bacon cheeseburger if you visit!

However, after sitting at my table for over 20... read more I visited the Applebee's in Ithaca after a long day of hiking. The hostess was friendly, which was a good start. However, after sitting at my table for over 20 minutes, no one came by to take my drink order or even check on how I was doing. One server walked past me several times without acknowledging my presence, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy—plenty of employees were just standing around chatting. I've never walked out of a restaurant in my life, despite having worked in the industry for over 20 years. But I left this one and have no intention of returning. I then went to the Applebee's in Cortland, where they were three times as busy but provided excellent service.
