What Lacy Sawayn dislikes about Prairie River:
The manager treated us with blatant disrespect simply because we had children with us. He even threatened to have us removed several times when we mentioned that he was treating us differently from other customers. I won't be returning to this restaurant. I'm extremely disappointed after being a loyal customer for over six years. I advise others to steer clear of this place. Service: 1/5. View all feedback.
The customer service was outstanding, as always. The special menu item for Labor Day weekend 2023, "Short Rib Macaroni Cheese," was absolutely fantastic! The Elotés was quite enjoyable as well. However, the chips were just mediocre and didn't really complement the corn dish. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.
Great place to go locally for a late night drink. Good food and service too. Most locals don't come here, only travelers, giving the place an exclusive feel.

Fantastic visit! We needed a staycation after a few very hard weeks. Everything was great! facilities were all clean and up to date. Staff was very fast and professional. Food was always great and served hot and on time. Spa was amazing. Grounds were very well kept. The bed was so comfortable. Shower pressure was great. The guests all seemed very chill like everyone was having a good time. Place was easy to find. Internet was strong. The only thing I'd recommend is having more things to buy cuz I'd definitely spend money if there were options! And maybe having a little golf cart driving people to and from the pool and having a cooler of beverages in it. LOL. But really beautiful venue and incredibly comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!
