This restaurant is located within a large, up-scale indoor shopping mall, so there is little 'down-home ' Italian ambiance. It may be a member of a chain. Service was slow the day I was there (about 2pm on a Thursday afternoon), and the young male waiter was a bit curt. Service was slow the day I was there (about 2pm on a Thursday afternoon), and the young male waiter was a bit curt. That said, I ordered the eggplant parmigiana as an appetizer and it was suburb, better than any I have ever had in Chicago. I also ordered the calamari appetizer and it was good also. If going for lunch, I would suggest ordering off the appetizer menu. Good food, if a bit pricey.
