The Still Life Cafe is in independence, not Big Pine....and never opened in Bishop. We often try to organize our trips to Mammoth so we can stop at Still Life for dinner... we like it so much! You will enjoy your experience much more when you leave your HURRY at the door. The owner, she is the cook and he is the waiting staff and sommelier, transplanted into the Owens Valley from France, over LA, many years ago and they brought the French culinary setting! Relax and enjoy Milikas EXCELLENT FOOD with a bottle of wine that Michelle will recommend. Our personal favs are the fillet Mignon or spaghetti Bolognese, which has been placed on the menu due to the abundance of fresh cans tomatoes from their garden. They won't be disappointed.
